Box Breaks: 29 Boxes of 2019 Bowman Mega Box

If you're big into baseball you know that for the past couple of years Bowman Mega Boxes have been highly coveted by collectors. These are Target exclusive boxes that contain two exclusive Chrome Mega Packs per box along with 4 Packs or Regular Bowman. Originally sold at $14.99, this year the price is $19.99 but it hasn't stopped collectors from buying out stores and online. Every time Target has put these online, they've sold out instantly. On the storefront? People go to the lengths of finding their Excel reps to buy cases before they even get put up on shelves. Now for me, I only have one Target near me (and it's 30 minutes away) and the few times I did check, there were no signs of them. I wasn't able to get any Mega Boxes the past two years and even online I missed a ton of the restocks since they would appear at random times and even though I had my app said to notify me, I never got them on time. I was lucky to hit on two restocks, so I bought 14 on one wave and 15 on another. Them being on sale for $17.99 (plus the Target red card discount) brought the cost down a little bit as well. So now, I'm finally ready to break them. So you get 4 regular Bowman packs and 2 Exclusive Chrome Packs per box. The only downside is the Bowman packs are literally just base cards. You cannot pull any kind of inserts/parallel/autos. So that part makes it a very dry break. I decided to truck through the regular Bowman packs first before opening the exclusive packs. So are these boxes worth the hype? Here's what I pulled

WANDER FRANCO

Overall Thoughts: AMAZING BREAK. I haven't had a break in a LONG while. But this started with a bang and ended with a bang! Joey Bart and Wander Franco are two of the top prospects to get and within my first 5 packs I pulled the Bart! Only one other has sold and it sold for $235! In the very last Mega Box Exclusive pack I pulled the WANDER AUTO!!! These have sold on Ebay for $350-$400! Great looking ON CARD AUTO. The mojo cards themselves are very nice looking! I love the set. Obviously everything else is gravy, but I ended up with 6 Wander Franco Base Mojo Rookies, 6 Joey Barts, numerous of the other top prospects and some nice color including a Gold Keston Hiura to 50. He's been tearing it up in the Majors so far since his call up. Even before I pulled the Wander, I felt this was a successful break and very fun. The funny thing, I only pulled one Wander Chrome Base Bowman out of all the regular Bowman packs. I would definitely pick more of these up (if I can ever find them...) as for the price it's a no brainer. Pics of the cards!!
