Box Breaks: 3 Wal Mart Blasters of 2017 Topps Heritage Baseball

So I'm going to take a break from breaking Old School products to break a product that's a modern retro product.....yes it sounds confusing but basically I'm going to open 3 blasters of 2017 Topps Heritage Baseball. I don't do a lot retail, I try to avoid it, but I figured with Hobby boxes at $85 a pop, I'd try my hand at 3 blasters for $20 less as it's not like I'm really going to try to attack collecting the master set or anything. It looks like a fun product to just rip. Here's what I got!

Blaster 1

Base SP's (1:3)
Charlie Blackmon
Justin Verlander
Ian Kinsler

Topps Game (1:10)

Topps Discs (1:12)
Giancarlo Stanton

Rediscover Topps (1:20)

1988 Topps Terry Puhl

Baseball Flashbacks (1:20)

Frank Robinson

Chrome (1:27)
Jameson Taillon (#185/999)

Grey Back Variation (1:529)
Michael Saunders

Overall Thoughts: Keep in that it's retail so there are a lot of elements that are missing that can only be found in the hobby version of this product. Regardless, this was totally a fun break and it's cool to look for the variations. I almost missed the Saunders at first, because I know the hit is every 5th card of the pack and I didn't realize anything special. Then I flipped over the Saunders and noticed the grey back. It's a 1:529 hit and limited to 10 copies so I'd say not too bad. Relics may be boring, but in Heritage they are still semi tough to find so to pull a relic was pretty cool too as those are 1:70 retail packs. I thought this was a very solid break and if you have an itch to just get a sampling of this product I'd recommend picking up a blaster for  $20 at your local Wal Mart or Target. Here's a look at the cards!
