Box Breaks: 4 Hangers and 4 Blasters of 2017 Topps Archives

So this will be the 2nd time around I'm busting some Topps Archives retail. I fared fairly decent the last time around pulling an auto. I also picked up the hanger packs because you get one 1960 Topps Rookie Star insert in every pack so hoping to get a Judge out of one. Can I just say again how much fun it's been opening baseball cards? Even if it's retail and even at the end of the day you lose your shirt value wise for the most part, it's just been a fun experience ripping packs and hunting for Aaron Judge. As long as the experience is great, to me that's part of the cost of ripping packs. Anyways, here's what I got this time around

Overall Thoughts: In my opinion the definition of a solid, fun enjoyable break. Nothing earth shattering, but 3 Different Judges, A Trout coin, inserts of Bryant and Correa, a Low Numbered Nomar parallel, a couple Bryce Harper inserts, a Miggy Gold Parallel Variation and pack wise the Jeter Green Foil was a super tough pull (really surprised those don't sell for more..I mean I'm not saying it should be a $20 card or anything, but I expected it to be selling for at least $10 and they seem to go for $5). Basically full of stars and I had a blast opening it all! Since I've pulled what I wanted (i.e. the Judges for my PC), I'm probably done with Archives for the year. So next on the horizon will be 4 boxes of Stadium Club (should be in Monday, but probably won't open until next weekend because of work) and 6 boxes of Allen & Ginter (again, it'll come in Friday, but might have to wait on opening it until the next weekend depending on how much time I have). Here's pics of the better cards!

  1. Congratulations on pulling the trio of Judges. I purchased 2 Series One blasters and a Gypsy Queen and completely struck out. Oh well. That's the breaks.

    1. I've never bought so much retail in my life, but it's a blast opening!
