Why I Like It: What a random way to start a countdown eh? Unless you're a wrestling fan...make that a hardcore wrestling fan (or more specifically Lucha Libre fan) you might have NO IDEA why such a low level wrestler's autograph would even come close to making a countdown filled with game used, autographs, rookies cards of real superstars and the such. But alas here it is to kick us off. El Dandy is 100% an inside joke between me and my cousin. He was trying to create Macho Man Randy Savage in Raw for XBox and it looked NOTHING like him at all. In fact, it looked more like....EL DANDY than anything. I took upon myself to rename "Macho Man" El Dandy, and to this day will never let my cousin live it down. Thus the legend began. Plus we can't forget that super awesome promo Bret Hart cut on El Dandy, granting him a shot at the WCW U.S. Title

That made me love  El Dandy even more. So when I was flipping through Ebay one day and saw this card, I KNEW I had to get it. So who are YOU to doubt El Dandy's worthiness on this countdown??

In the 25 plus years I've been collecting, I've done it all. Cards, Pogs, Autographs,Video Games,Starting Lineups, Headliners, Wrestling stuff, McFarlane Figures, the list goes on and on. I'm a sucker for doing countdown lists and it's been a couple years since my top 100 cards countdown so I decided to rank my Favorite 150 Items in my collection. Since my card collection is basically dwindled down to very little, I've encompassed everything in my entire collection, cards figures, autographs, etc. Some of the stuff ranked is purely based on sentimental and personal reasons, which is why you'll see some things that are probably worth no more than a few bucks. I thought it was fun to take a ride down memory lane and also take a deep breath and look at all the cool stuff I've been able to accumulate throughout the years. So get ready, because the countdown starts today!

Game Used Greatness: Ladainian Tomlinson 2007 Pro Bowl Game Used Jersey

This pickup will end the year with a bang so to speak! A gamer of one of the best running backs ever to play the game! It's a Pro Bowl gamer to add to the uniqueness of it! Tomlinson scored a TD in it as well! This is amazing jersey that's only 2nd to my Peterson jersey in my football collection! I was very surprised I was able to pick it up on SCP Auctions for what I thought was a pretty damn good price. It's certified by the NFL and PSA/DNA. Just an amazing piece of history and a great way to end 2013!!

Awesome Autographs: Andrew Luck Autographed Breast Cancer Awareness Football

Last week was my birthday, and of course my parents know how much I'm into sports memorabilia. Panini Authentic had a Black Friday Special on select items and combined with a special promo code (Kobe24) my parents were able to get a heck of a deal on this ball and gave it to me as a birthday present! It's a sweet football with a large Luck graph and limited to 50. It made my 30th birthday even more memorable!

Game Used Greatness: 2009 Adrian Peterson Game Used Jersey

Yeah, this addition is a doozy to say the least. Adrian Peterson is my favorite non Cowboys player and this was a chance to add an actual game used jersey he wore to my collection. I sacrificed a few gamers in my collection to fund this purchase, but at the end of the day I feel it to be wellllll worth it! This jersey is HAMMERED to say the least. Dirty and pounded like Gamers should be! It comes with a Vikings LOA and he wore the jersey on November 22nd, 2009 against the Seattle Seahawks. I'd have to say if you asked my what my favorite gamer was, it used to be hands down my Kevin Durant...but now...it's a coin flip. I honestly don't know, but it's nice to have such awesome duo! Awesome Autographs: John Wall 16X20 Autographed Photo (Panini Authentic)

A member of Blowout Cards Message Board made a post about Panini having a sale on John Wall autographed 16X20 photos # to 50 for $60 bucks. I thought this was a heck of a deal and i was able to get it even cheaper with a Panini Promo Code. At the end of the day a nice Panini Authentic 16x20 limited edition photo for around $60 shipped of a young up and coming NBA Superstar was just too awesome too pass up. Awesome Autographs: Derek Jeter & Mariano Rivera Dual Autographed 16X20 Photo (Steiner Certified)

It's been a while since I've posted as I really haven't bought anything since the KG jersey. This though...I couldn't resist. Two of the most important Yankees not only in modern Yankees history, but all time, Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera basically have spent their entire career together as teammates for the New York Yankees helping lead them to 5 World Series Championships. This year was Rivera's final season in the majors and although the Yankees failed the make the playoffs, Rivera was still his old reliable self when called upon. This is a Steiner certified autographed 16X20 pic of him and Jeter. Just an amazing piece and I'm definitely stoked to add this to my collection!
