If there was one basketball player that I wish I could've seen live it would without a shadow of a doubt be Pistol Pete Maravich. Maravich was a scoring machine and one of the greatest showmen in NCAA and NBA history. He was way ahead of his time when it came to ball handling and passing skills. I've been wanting to obtain an autograph of him forever ,but because he died at such a young age, his auto's are pricey and hard to come by. I finally was able to add one. Backed by PSA/DNA Certification and a LOA from his wife Jackie, I added this signed personal check to my collection. It's the 2nd check that I have (the other being Ty Cobb). I love the uniqueness of signed personal checks and it doesn't get better than Pistol Pete.
There's one that won't end up on a "cut signatures" card. Good.
ReplyDeleteNo Siree it won't! Someone mentioned that I could send it to leaf and they would make a custom cut sign out of it and I was like ummm no thanks. I would never want to do something like that!
