Case Break: 2018 Clearly Authentic Baseball

Alright so onto the next break as I got in a case of 2018 Clearly Authentic earlier this week and I'm just going to get to open it today. I thought for the price point it was better to just take a risk and go for the case instead of buying 3 or 4 boxes and getting nothing considering it's a 1 card per box product. I'm hoping a case guarantees at least a card or two that are nice. I've seen the 93 Finest Autos of this and I'd really love to pull a big name of one of those. So it's one encased auto a box. And there are 20 boxes per case so although that seems like a lot, it should be a fairly quick rip. Here's what I got
Box 1 Dustin Fowler

Box 2
Domingo Santana Salute Auto Green (#58/99)

Box 3
Christian Villanueva Black Parallel (#19/75)

Box 4

Keon Broxton Salute Auto

Box 5 Aaron Nola

Box 6

Tommy Pham

Box 7
Max Fried

Box 8

Luis Castillo

Box 9 Miguel Andjuar

Box 10
Victor Robles Black (#52/75)

Box 11
Whit Merrifield

Box 12
Charlie Blackmon MLB Awards Black (#22/75)

Box 13
Rookie Reprint Dwight Gooden (#30/99)

Box 14
Austin Hays

Box 15
1993 Finest Autographs Victor Robles (146/199)

Box 16
Rafael Devers

Box 17
Troy Scribner Black (#44/75)

Box 18
Tomas Nido

Box 19
Jackson Stephens

Box 20
Paul Goldschmidt MLB Awards Red (#42/50)

At This Point Boxes 17-19 also included redemption cards in each box. I saved them for the last. These are the redemptions I hit

2018 Clearly Authentic Blue Auto Clint Frazier (#  to 25)

2018 Clearly Authentic Award Winners Jose Ramirez

and the big one

2018 CLEARLY AUTHENTIC BLACK AUTO PARALLEL SHOHEI OHTANI (# TO 75)

WHAT...A.....CASE...SAVER. PHEW. So things were looking PRETTTTY BLEAK before that Ohtani hit! But actually, it's funny how the Ohtani hit can put things into perspective. Because of that hit, it elevates the secondary hits of the case. So a case with 2 Robles, Goldschmidt, Jose Ramirez, Devers, Andujar, Frazier, and a Dwight Gooden Rookie Reprint auto actually is not bad at all. It just was bad when those were the MAIN case hits.  I really like the Finest Rookie Reprint of Gooden and I'm keeping most of the rookie autos for the most part as well.

Success/Failure: That was heading into Failure territory before the Ohtani, but at about a 98% ROI, it's definitely another success. Here's pics of the cards
