Box Breaks: 2 Boxes of 18-19 Contenders Draft Picks Basketball

 

So this is the first "official" product of the 18-19 season, though it's really a college licensed product sprinkled in with some NBA stuff. The rookies are in college unis, but since it's their first pack pulled autos, the tend to sell well out of the gate. This stuff has actually gone up in price recently (in the $140-$150 range) luckily I got mine for $112 a box. Hoping to pull a nice auto of one of the top rookies of this year's class. We shall see! Here's what I got

Overall Thoughts: Meh..this was a pretty dull break. The base cards are boring, the inserts are boring, you only get one parallel per box, it's a short base set so expected tons of duplicates if opening more than 1 box. Odds are the majority of your 6 autos are going to be of guys who won't even sniff the league. Seems like you do get one on card auto per box and that checklist is pretty short and of the better guys, I just got two guys that I thought would sell better than they do. This is a product that is worth a gamble at it's presale price, but now at $150? No way. I wouldn't rip it at that price. 

Success/Failure- I'm going to call it a failure because I don't think I could pull $112 worth a cards from these cards. The Porter Jr. is the absolute best card at around $30 and there's only like two more cards that would even fetch $15 at most. Horrible ROI and one of the bigger busts I've had in a while.
